Assemble your team of eight people for the 2025 Community WorldQuest competition. This exciting trivia game tests your knowledge on topics spanning geography\, current events\, global leaders\, world cultures\, and recent editions of the Global Connect newsletter. \nPrizes will be awarded for top placing teams and the most creative Team Spirit. Themes and costumes encouraged! Invite your friends\, family\, colleagues\, or neighbors to join the fun today! Don’t have a team? You can sign up individually or in small groups and we’ll pair your with other excellent team members. \nEvent Details\n\n\n\nRegistration is available for teams of up to 8\nDiscount for Global Minnesota members (at least two participants on a team need to be a member at the Supporter level or above to receive discounted rate).\nDiscount for college & university students (all participants on a team must show proof of student status to receive discounted rate)\nLocation: Coffman Memorial Union Great Hall\nRenowned host Tane Danger will serve as emcee!\nWinning teams will receive bragging rights and fun prizes. DESCRIPTION:This event is for high school students only! \nTest your students’ global IQ at our annual international knowledge competition for high school students. This FREE knowledge competition challenges high school students in a fun and interactive manner to think globally about critical issues facing the U.S. and the world. The winning team and their coach win an all-expenses-paid trip to the national competition in Washington\, D.C. in April 2018. \nAcademic WorldQuest is a youth education program of the national network of World Affairs Councils.
