DESCRIPTION:This event is being held in-person and is open to international and globally-minded students. This event is AT CAPACITY. Please contact Jo Mattos at jmattos@globalminnesota.org with any questions.  \nJoin Global Minnesota for a new outdoor adventure as we explore Hidden Falls Regional Park\, a peaceful\, scenic destination along the Mississippi River. This year\, enjoy the tranquility of a local hidden gem nestled within a riverside park. \nTogether\, we’ll: \n\nTake a light hike through wooded trails and along Hidden Falls creek\nFind the famous Hidden Falls\nEnjoy a classic small-bite American picnic with tasty summer favorites\nPlay fun outdoor games and relax in the sun\nMake new friends and reconnect with familiar faces\n\nWhether you’re new to hiking or just looking for a fun day outside\, this easy-going outdoor experience is perfect for all levels. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh air\, explore Minnesota’s beautiful natural scenery\, and spend time with other international students. \nAgenda:\n\n2:00 – 2:20 pm: Arrival at Global Minnesota\n2:30 pm: Departure from Global Minnesota\n3:00 pm: Arrival at Hidden Falls Regional Park\n3:30 – 4:00 pm: Picnic Time\n4:00 – 5:00 pm: Light Hike – Exploring the Park & Finding the Hidden Falls\n5:00 – 6:00 pm: Games & Social Time\n6:00 pm: Group Picture & Departure\n6:30 pm: Arrival back at Global Minnesota\n\nSpots are limited and will be filled on a first come\, first served basis. Global Minnesota staff and volunteers will offer a limited number of car rides.
