Embark on a special tour of the Minnesota State Capitol\, led by former Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie. With his vast experience and deep knowledge\, Mark will guide you through the Capitol’s rich history\, sharing insider stories and behind-the-scenes insights. From stunning architecture to key moments in Minnesota’s history\, this tour offers a unique look at the state’s political heart. \nAfterward\, we’ll walk to White Castle\, just around the corner\, for some mini-burgers (sliders) and social time. Enjoy delicious\, small bites*\, relax\, and mingle with other globally-minded students in a fun\, casual atmosphere. Fall is almost here and that means international students are arriving in Minnesota. Join Global Minnesota for a tour of the iconic Minnesota State Capitol with Global Minnesota President and former Secretary of State Mark Ritchie. Enjoy a walk through the Capitol building to engage in a discussion of art and history\, as well as gain insight about the recent building restoration. This tour is open for international students and Global Minnesota members alike.
