Both places are defined by strong agricultural traditions\, resilient communities\, and a growing focus on innovation and regional partnerships. \nJoin Global Minnesota for a presentation by the Consul General of Lithuania in Chicago\, Regimantas Jablonskas. He will outline Lithuania’s current economic priorities\, its role in the European Union\, and the growing trade ties between Minnesota and Lithuania. \nGlobal Minnesota members receive discounted admission. Check out the many benefits of membership and join today. \nAbout the Speaker: Consul General Regimantas Jablonskas\nRegimantas Jablonskas has served as the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Chicago since September 2024\, leading the mission’s efforts to strengthen U.S.-Lithuanian relations in the Midwest. Prior to his current appointment\, he held senior diplomatic roles including Ambassador-at-Large in the Policy Planning Department at the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2017-2024. His career also includes service as Consul General in Almaty\, Kazakhstan from 2015-2017\, Deputy Director of External Economic Relations from 2008-2015\, and postings in Norway and Ukraine.
