SUMMARY:South Africa as a Gateway to U.S. Foreign Policy
DESCRIPTION:This event is being held in-person and is open to everyone. \nFrom trade and agriculture to immigration and global power\, South Africa is an excellent point of entry to explore broader U.S. foreign policy issues. \nJoin Anne Linnee\, former U.S. Consul General in Durban\, South Africa to uncover how bilateral relations between the U.S. and South Africa are illustrative of wider regional trends. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in open discussion on South Africa\, and why it is an enduring foreign policy focal point. \nGlobal Minnesota members receive discounted admission. Members are welcome to bring a guest at the member rate. \nNot yet a member? Check out the many benefits of membership and join today. \nAbout the Speaker: Anne Linnee\nFollowing a more than 20-year career as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer\, Anne retired from the State Department in 2023.
