/ $40 – $50Event Navigation
This event is SOLD OUT.
The vast cultural and geographic expanse of Russia and its close connections with Europe, Asia, and the Middle East contribute to the varied character of the country’s cuisine. From the beloved rural dishes made from simple ingredients to the refined culinary techniques of smoked meats and delicate dumplings, Russian cuisine is distinct and reflects the different environmental, social, geographical, and historical factors of the region.
Experience a classic family-style Russian meal at Moscow on the Hill, as we dine on handmade Siberian beef and pork pelmeni dumplings; fresh garden salad; grandma’s “golubtsy” meat and rice-filled cabbage rolls braised in rich tomato sauce with sour cream and fresh herbs; Moscow fries made from fried dill potatoes; and decadent white Russian tiramisu. Guests will receive one drink ticket for a glass of house wine and be entertained with a sampling of traditional Russian folk music.
Along with delicious food and conversation, we’ll hear from Todd Lefko, Chair of the Russian American Business and Culture Council, on building strong ties between Minnesota and Russia.
Registration includes dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, black Russian tea, tax, and gratuity. Cash bar also available. Advance registration and prepayment required.
Event vouchers accepted. To register with a voucher, please call us at 612.625.1662. You must bring voucher(s) to the event to redeem.
Presented in partnership with the Russian American Business and Culture Council.
