This event is being held virtually and is open to everyone.
Bring the world to your kitchen table for this year’s Hispanic Heritage month! In this interactive Culture through Cuisine experience, watch or follow along with award-winning author & Chef Amalia Moreno-Damgaard as she presents an exploration of the delights of Mesoamerican food. She will be joined live in her kitchen by Global Minnesota President Mark Ritchie and Events Manager Carolina Gustafson.
Follow along from your kitchen counter as they prepare a meal over Zoom including traditional dishes that celebrate the cultural contributions of Hispanic heritage. Along with these traditional dishes, Chef Amalia will share her lived experience, personal anecdotes, culture, and history. Using two cameras to capture the cooking action, Amalia will delight you with scrumptious dishes you can easily make at home. Learn more about Amalia at AmaliaLLC.com. Guests will also have the chance to talk directly with Chef Amalia for advice, questions, or troubleshooting tips.
