About the Speaker: Consul General Regimantas Jablonskas
Regimantas Jablonskas has served as the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Chicago since September 2024, leading the mission’s efforts to strengthen U.S.-Lithuanian relations in the Midwest. Prior to his current appointment, he held senior diplomatic roles including Ambassador-at-Large in the Policy Planning Department at the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2017-2024. His career also includes service as Consul General in Almaty, Kazakhstan from 2015-2017, Deputy Director of External Economic Relations from 2008-2015, and postings in Norway and Ukraine. With a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vilnius University, he brings deep expertise in foreign policy, economic relations, and multilateral engagement to his role.
