Culture Through Cuisine: Mediterranean

November 4 @ 6:00 pm CST

/ $45 – $60

This event is being held in-person and is open to everyone.

The Mediterranean diet is world-renowned for its health benefits and delicious culinary diversity. Transport your tastebuds to the warm Mediterranean coast and learn about the history of the oldest Middle Eastern restaurant in Minnesota at the next Culture through Cuisine. You’ll savor a selection of falafel, hummus, kabobs, gyros, rice, and more at Mediterranean Cruise Café in Burnsville.

After the meal, you’ll also hear from owner Jamal Ansari about the opening of this restaurant back in 1979. Jamal and his sons have created many original delicacies from Jerusalem, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Italy, Turkey and Greece.

Global Minnesota members receive discounted admission. Members are encouraged to bring a non-member at the member rate.
