Culture Through Cuisine: Nepal and Northern India

This event is being held in-person and is open to everyone. 

Help us round out the summer with the next event in our Culture through Cuisine series as we head to St. Paul to visit Everest on Grand, a North Indian and Nepali restaurant. We’ll hear the stories behind each dish on the menu from restaurant owner, Roshan Chaudhary

Appetizers, dinner, dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage are included with registration. Additional beverages, appetizers, and desserts are available for individual purchase.

 

 

MENU:

Appetizers:
Chicken Momo – Ground chicken with onion, ginger, garlic, cilantro and spices in a wheat flour pastry and steamed. Served with special Momo sauce.

Veggie Samosa – Deliciously spiced mixture of potato, peas stuffed into pyramid shaped pastry and fried.

Main Course:
Palak Paneer with Rice – Spinach and paneer (cheese) cooked with ghee in homemade special tomato-cream sauce.

Chicken Tikka Masala – Marinated chicken breast meat cooked in homemade special tikka-cream sauce.

Dessert:

Kheer – Rice slowly cooked in milk and seasoned with sugar, raisins, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon.

Drink: 
One juice or soda per person
