Edina Great Decisions: U.S. Changing Leadership in the World Economy
May 5 @ 4:00 pm CDT
/ Free
This free event is being held in-person and is open to everyone.
For most of the postwar era, the U.S. has tied its global leadership to cooperative agendas aimed at creating a more open-world trading system, but that notion is increasingly being challenged. What are America’s options and opportunities as a leader of the world economy? How will strategic competition with China impact its leadership role?
This program is presented by Edina Community Ed through a partnership with the Edina Senior Center, the Edina Library, the Edina Community Center, and Global Minnesota.
The Great Decisions program addresses some of the most timely foreign policy issues facing the United States each year. Global Minnesota facilitates discussion groups across the state, providing access to a roster of local foreign policy experts and offering Great Decisions books produced by the Foreign Policy Association.
