Great Decisions: The Changing World Order, Cuba & Latin America

Through a variety of policies under the rubric of America First, President Trump is seeking to reshape the world order. What are the the implications of this approach for Cuba and Latin America?

This program is presented by the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis through a partnership with Global Minnesota.

The Great Decisions program addresses some of the most critical foreign policy issues facing the United States each year. Global Minnesota facilitates the statewide Great Decisions program by providing access to a roster of local foreign policy experts and to discussion materials produced by the Foreign Policy Association. 

Gary Prevost, presenter

Gary Prevost is Professor Emeritus of Political Science and Latin American Studies at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University and Research Associate and Honorary Professor at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa.  He is the author or co-editor of close to twenty books and 100 academic articles on a range of international subjects with a primary focus on Latin America. He has taught courses on international relations for fifty years and is regular lecturer in the Great Decisions program of Global Minnesota.
