Hidden Falls Hike & Picnic

Join Global Minnesota for a new outdoor adventure as we explore Hidden Falls Regional Park, a peaceful, scenic destination along the Mississippi River. This year, enjoy the tranquility of a local hidden gem nestled within a riverside park.

Together, we’ll:

• Take a light hike through wooded trails and along Hidden Falls creek
• Find the famous Hidden Falls
• Enjoy a classic small-bite American picnic with tasty summer favorites
• Play fun outdoor games and relax in the sun
• Make new friends and reconnect with familiar faces

Whether you’re new to hiking or just looking for a fun day outside, this easy-going outdoor experience is perfect for all levels. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, explore Minnesota’s beautiful natural scenery, and spend time with other international students.

Agenda:

• 2:00 – 2:20 pm: Arrival at Global Minnesota
• 2:30 pm: Departure from Global Minnesota
• 3:00 pm: Arrival at Hidden Falls Regional Park
• 3:30 – 4:00 pm: Picnic Time
• 4:00 – 5:00 pm: Light Hike – Exploring the Park & Finding the Hidden Falls
• 5:00 – 6:00 pm: Games & Social Time
• 6:00 pm: Group Picture & Departure
• 6:30 pm: Arrival back at Global Minnesota

Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Global Minnesota staff and volunteers will offer a limited number of car rides. We will also set up a WhatsApp group to coordinate rides and help students stay connected.
