Global Conversation: Preventing Disease in Africa

Many nations within Africa continue to have among the lowest vaccination rates in the world. Despite improvements in healthcare infrastructure both before and after the outbreak of COVID-19, significant work remains to prevent a variety of infectious diseases throughout the continent. What is the state of Africa’s infectious disease prevention and how can Minnesota help alleviate this significant problem in global health equity? Hear from a panel of global health experts from countries such as Uganda, Morocco, Nigeria, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire.
