The top three teams came within mere points of each other at our 16th annual WorldQuest international trivia competition this past December. But, at the end of the night, only one champion could be crowned and this year’s winning team was The Eclectic Society, who scored 41 out of a possible 48 points. After battling it out with a tiebreaker question about Colombia’s highest mountain, Pico Cristóbal Colón, The Advocates for Human Rights and Global World Planet Trivia Quiz Champions claimed second and third place, respectively. The evening also paid tribute to one of Global Minnesota’s founders, Josef Mestenhauser, with Team Joe playing in his honor.
