Russia’s war in Ukraine has incurred devastating human and financial costs both in Ukraine and around the world. Energy price increases, food shortages, and supply chain issues stemming from this conflict are placing further strain on the global economy. Todd Lefko
Todd Lefko is Chairperson of East-West Connections as well as the President of the United Filtration Company, an import-export firm dealing with water purification equipment, art, linen, kilns, and new technologies. He has worked in Russia for over 34 years and has homes in both Moscow and Minnesota.
Dr. Raymond Robertson
Dr. Raymond Robertson is Professor and holder of the Helen and Roy Ryu Chair in Economics and Government in the Department of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. He is also the Director of the Mosbacher Institute for Trade, Economics, and Public Policy. Widely published in the field of labor and international economics, Robertson chaired the US Department of Labor’s National Advisory Committee for Labor Provisions of US Trade Agreements and held other advisory positions.
