It was a spectacular summer night, as we capped off the yearlong focus on South Africa. The evening highlighted U.S.-South Africa relations, connected Minnesotans to our African partner, and featured South African-inspired cuisine and musical entertainment from VocalEssence Singers Of This Age.
A Focus on International Fellows
The gala’s Fund-A-Need supported the growth of Global Minnesota’s International Fellows program, which builds on the organization’s tradition of working with international students to advance the impact of our work across the state. In the year ahead, a group of 1-3 fellows will join the staff to bolster Global Minnesota’s mission of advancing international understanding and engagement…from the classroom to public events to member engagements.
